Reviews and Ratings
We had a lovely stay at Oreti with stunning lakefront views that were simply breathtaking. The apartment was well-equipped and had thoughtful extras, making our mornings wonderful. However, we were disturbed by the noise from the guests above us, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a beautiful getaway, but the noise issue might be a concern for light sleepers.
I was thrilled to find Oreti Village Resort during my recent trip! The view of Lake Taupo from my room was breathtaking, and the spacious accommodations made my stay even better. Although some furnishings felt a bit dated, the overall comfort and cleanliness of the place stood out. The service was outstanding, with Debbie going above and beyond to assist us. The restaurant offered delicious meals, but some confirmations via email could have been clearer. Overall, a fantastic experience with minor communication hiccups.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at this resort. While the views of Lake Taupo were truly stunning and the apartment was spacious, I was disappointed with the outdated decor and a few aspects of the service that did not meet my expectations. The dining was a positive experience overall, but the facilities could use some improvement to match the advertised luxury. If you're seeking a rustic lake-cabin feel, it might be suitable, but don't expect true luxury here.
The resort is nestled in a stunning location with amazing views, and the space was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxation. However, some amenities feel outdated, and the dining experience could be improved. While the restaurant served excellent food, it was disappointing that it closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Overall, the value for money is decent, but certain aspects could use attention.
The resort has an amazing location with stunning views, making it a great spot for special events. However, the rooms are quite dated and some amenities were not up to par, particularly the cleanliness of the bedding. While I enjoyed the overall charm and ambiance for the wedding I attended, I found the experience to be lacking in certain aspects, particularly for the price we paid.
